Cirro Energy shows Community Commitment by Helping Local Family

Cirro Energy has always shown a commitment to community involvement, whether that means giving back through volunteerism, philanthropy, or just helping fellow Texans save money on electricity. Now, Cirro has the opportunity to assist a worthy veteran in a tangible way, which will significantly improve his family’s situation. Through a partnership with the Petya I Edwards Foundation, Cirro Energy is helping to build a wheelchair ramp at the home of Dallas residents Jack and Chris Christopher.

Cirro EnergyCirro Energy is not just donating financial resources to make this project happen. Rather, as part of the company’s long-term commitment to the community, Cirro will also supply employees eager to volunteer their time to help with the wheelchair ramp. Says Cirro Energy spokesperson, Cindi Wakefield, “Our employees roll up their sleeves to provide the manpower and we supply funding for materials. Together with the Petya I Edwards Foundation, we’ll help make a difference in the family of a deserving veteran.”

The wheelchair ramp is critical for the Christopher family. Mr. Jack Christopher is a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army, and Mrs. Chris Christopher has recently suffered a stroke that left her confined to a wheelchair. With the addition of this ramp, the couple will be better able to get back and forth to Mrs. Christopher’s medical appointments, because getting in and out of their house will be much easier. In this way, the project will have a significant impact on their quality of life. Coming on the heels of Memorial Day, this is an excellent way for Cirro to give back to a worthy veteran.

Cirro Energy is proud to be a part of this project, and glad to collaborate with the Petya I Edwards Foundation. A non-profit organization, the Petya I Edwards Foundation strives to help local families with important resources like education, life skills, and physical needs. This resonates with Cirro, a Texas company dedicated to improving the lives of fellow Texans.
